The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) invites applications from qualified teachers for the 652 Job Openings for School Principal – Scale 13 in accordance with the Career Progression Guidelines.
Application Process
Teachers who meet the required qualifications are encouraged to apply through the TSC portal at www.teachersonline.go.ke. The deadline for submission of online applications is 30th December 2024, by midnight. Please note that manual applications will not be accepted.

Requirements for Principal (Scale 13 – 652 Posts)
To be considered for the position of Principal, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience: Candidates should have served as Deputy Principal II/Senior Master I, T-Scale 12, for a minimum of 6 months.
- Performance Rating: A satisfactory performance rating in the appraisal process is required.
- Leadership Ability: Applicants must demonstrate the ability to supervise, mentor, and provide professional support to other teachers.
- Additional Qualifications: Any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission will also apply.
Note: Teachers who previously applied under Advert No. 1/2024 are encouraged to apply again.
Additional Notes:
- Candidates who were part of the application window between 12th to 18th November 2024 for Advert Nos. 1 to 4 are encouraged to reapply.
- Successful applicants will be posted to available school vacancies.
- Manual applications will not be considered.
