TSC Advertises 126 Senior Principal Positions for Regular Schools: Apply.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC), established under Article 237(1) of the Constitution, is tasked with managing the teaching profession in Kenya. In line with its constitutional mandate, the Commission is inviting applications from qualified teachers for 126 Senior Principal positions in regular schools.
These appointments are in accordance with the Career Progression Guidelines for Teachers.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is a Constitutional body established under Article 237(1) of the Constitution. As part of its mandate, TSC is seeking applications from qualified teachers for various positions, as outlined below, in line with the Career Progression Guidelines.
Interested candidates who meet the specified qualifications are encouraged to apply online via the TSC portal at www.teachersonline.go.ke. The deadline for receiving applications is 30th December 2024, at midnight. Please note that manual applications will not be accepted.
Important Notes:
- Successful candidates will be required to provide valid Chapter 6 documents before being appointed.
- Candidates will be assigned to schools with available vacancies.

Requirements for Appointment
To be eligible for appointment to this grade, a candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Have served as Principal or Deputy Principal I, T-Scale 13, for at least three years.
- Have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process.
- Have demonstrated the ability to supervise, mentor, and provide professional support to other teachers.
- Fulfill any additional requirements that may be set by the Commission.

Candidates who meet the qualifications should apply through the TSC portal at www.teachersonline.go.ke before the deadline of 30th December 2024, at midnight.
Applicants who previously applied for Advertisements 1 to 4 of 2024, running from 12th to 18th November, are encouraged to submit their applications again.
