TSC Job Advert: 254 Senior Head Teacher Positions.

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC), established under Article 237(1) of the Constitution, invites applications for Senior Head Teacher (Regular Primary) positions in accordance with the Career Progression Guidelines.

Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria should submit their applications online through the TSC portal at www.teachersonline.go.ke by 30th December 2024, midnight. • Successful interviewees must present valid Chapter 6 documents prior to appointment.
• Successful candidates will be posted to schools with existing vacancies.

Requirements for Appointment

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Experience:
   • Served as a Headteacher or Deputy Head Teacher I (TSC Scale 10) for at least three (3) years.
2. Performance:
   • Achieved a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process.
3. Leadership Skills:
   • Demonstrated capability to supervise, mentor, and provide professional support to other teachers.
4. Additional Criteria:
   • Fulfill any other requirements set by the Commission.
