TSC Promotion: 1,364 Primary School Senior Teacher II

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is a Constitutional Commission established under Article 237(1) of the Constitution. In line with its mandate and the Career Progression Guidelines, the Commission invites applications for the positions listed below.

Application Process

Eligible candidates who meet the qualifications are required to submit their applications online through the TSC portal: www.teachersonline.go.ke. Applications must be received by midnight on 30th December 2024. Manual applications will not be accepted.

Important Notes:

• Candidates who previously applied for Advert 1 to 4 of 2024 (12th to 18th November 2024) are encouraged to reapply.
• Successful candidates will be posted to schools with existing vacancies.

Requirements for Appointment

To be considered for the position of Senior Teacher II, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Have served as Primary Teacher I (T-Scale 6) for at least six months.
2. Have a satisfactory performance appraisal rating.
3. Fulfill any additional requirements set by the Commission.

Teachers currently serving as Head Teacher or Deputy Head Teacher are also encouraged to apply.

Additional Instructions

1. Candidates who succeed in the interview process must present valid Chapter 6 documents (integrity clearance documents) before their appointment.
2. Selected candidates will be deployed to schools with available vacancies.
