TSC Qualifications for Senior Teacher I (SNE Primary School).

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC), established under Article 237(1) of the Constitution, invites applications from suitably qualified teachers to fill the positions listed below in accordance with the Career Progression Guidelines.

Application Procedure

  • Candidates must submit their applications online through the TSC portal at www.teachersonline.go.ke.
  • Applications must be received by 30th December 2024, midnight.
  • Manual applications will not be accepted.
  • The Teachers Service Commission promotes equal opportunity employment, and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Important Notes:

  1. Successful candidates will be required to provide valid Chapter 6 documents before appointment.
  2. Appointed candidates will be posted to schools where vacancies exist.
  3. Teachers who previously applied for Advert Nos. 1 to 4/2024, which ran from 12th to 18th November 2024, are encouraged to reapply.

Requirements for Appointment
1. Must have served as Senior Teacher II (T-Scale 7) for a minimum of 6 months.
2. Hold at least a Diploma in Special Needs Education.
3. Demonstrate the ability to supervise, mentor, and provide professional support to peers.
4. Attain a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process.
5. Meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.
